An amalgamated image of former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and the King of Pop Michael Jackson dubbed 'Schmeichel Jackson' has left social media users feeling traumatised.
Football fan Mal has caught the attention of tens of thousands of Twitter users with a photo that includes the face of Jackson plastered onto the head and body of Premier League icon Schmeichel.
The image has brought in 812 comments, over 4,000 retweets and almost 50,000 likes in around 24 hours, with many wishing that they had never seen the upload to begin with - and many others tagging their friends so they see it too.

Former Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed put the tribute outside Craven Cottage after selling its planned destination of Harrods, over a decade after Jackson attended the ground for a fixture.
Appearing on Desert Island Discs after his retirement, Schmeichel in fact chose The Girl Is Mine by Jackson with Paul McCartney as the final of his eight tracks.
