Luke Littler's 'personal chef' at his local takeaway names kebab deal after darts star

Luke Littler has had a kebab named after him at his local takeaway.

The darts prodigy, 16, has become a global phenomenon since setting off from his hometown Warrington for the Paddy Power PDC World Championship just three weeks ago. He's returned a hero thanks to his stunning journey to the final.

As well as blitzing the competition at Ally Pally, Littler also grabbed the headlines with his eating habits - celebrating his wins with takeaways given he's still over 12 months away from being able to legally drink alcohol.

His go-to kebab was particularly popular and his local shop, Hot Spot, has now named his favourite £6.49 combo - a donor with extra meat, salad and mayo, chips with red salt and a Pepsi - after him.

“It’s his special and he has it every time," co-owner Sihad Baba, who calls himself Littler's "personal chef", told The Mirror. "Often, he orders through Just Eat but sometimes he comes in with his dad and they might order garlic bread cheese as an extra."

Sihad, 17, and his brother Hamido have been serving the family for years. "I’ve known Luke since Year 7," he continued. "He’d never cause trouble at school. He has never changed, no matter what success he had. He’s a lovely bloke."

Despite Littler pocketing a cool £200,000 for his runner-up finish, albeit losing nearly half of that to HMRC, he's now got free kebabs for life from Hot Spot - who will be expecting plenty of orders for the 'Luke Littler Wrap'.

After a manic week he's now enjoying a week's holiday with his family and is finally able to get a long-awaited FIFA session on his Xbox. In a social media post, 'The Nuke' admitted he wasn't switching off fully - tuning into the Modus Super Series finals.
